Coffee with “X” is proud to donate $2000 to @mainstreetproject as chosen by @cake_ology.
@mainstreetproject is a local organization doing important initiatives for our community.

Negash Coffee received the official Coffee with “X” “Best Coffee” Trophy, a wooden plaque for Negash Coffee to keep, courtesy of our valued event partner, KIRA DESIGN and $500 cash from Coffee with “X” by Alark Co. Jolene Pauls of Negash Coffee was also awarded a framed certificate of achievement as the top voted “Best Local Barista” (People’s Choice), and a prize pack courtesy of our event supporter Eight Ounce Coffee based in Calgary, AB.——————Cake-Ology received the official Coffee with “X” “Best “X” Trophy, a wooden plaque for Cake-Ology to keep, courtesy of our valued event partner, KIRA DESIGN and $500 cash from Coffee with “X” by Alark Co. Cake-Ology also received two framed certificates of achievement and two prize packs (courtesy of our event partner, De Luca’s and our event supporter, Bee Maid Honey) for being the top voted Coffee with “X” “Favourite Local Biz” and Chef Austin Ryan as “Best Local Food Creative”. All trophy recipients will have the opportunity to defend their title in the next Coffee with “X” initiative.
Popbar Winnipeg and Fusian Experience Desserts & Cafe each received a framed certificate of achievement and prize pack courtesy of our event partner, De Luca’s.
One of our goals for Coffee with “X” is to also give back to our community. Something we are committed to in all of our initiatives.
The top voted participant (@cake_ology) had the opportunity to choose the local organization for our company to donate to.
This year, the recipient was End Homelessness Winnipeg. End Homelessness is a local Indigenous organization, “established in 2015 through a community mandate to be the backbone organization in our community that will implement the 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness in Winnipeg”. We encourage you to learn more about their organization and community impact.
We had the opportunity to meet with Jason Whitford, CEO of End Homelessness Winnipeg during their media event and learned more about their upcoming projects and the impact they have in our community. We encourage you to learn more about their organization at endhomelessnesswinnipeg.ca
